The 718 switched the base, S and early GTS cars to turbocharged flat-four engines.
The 718 switched the base, S and early GTS cars to turbocharged flat-four engines. In 2020 the GT4 and Spyder got a new 4.0-litre flat-six, which then went into the GTS 4.0 as well; the GT4 RS and Spyder RS added the 911 GT3 engine.
The 4.0-litre cars hold their value far better than the flat-four cars. That is the first question to answer when you buy a 718.
