Who we are

What we collect

When you ask for an offer: your name, phone, email, ZIP code, and details about your car (year, make, model, trim, mileage, VIN, the price you hope to get and anything you tell us).

When you visit: basic technical data (browser, device, pages viewed) and, if you came from an ad, the ad click ID and campaign tags in the link. We use cookies and similar tools from Google and Meta to measure our ads.

How we use it

To review your car, make you an offer, contact you about it, arrange payment, payoff and pickup, and keep records of the purchase. To measure and improve our advertising and this website.

Calls and text messages

If you agree on the form, 911 Buyers may call or text you about your offer, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of selling your car. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Who we share it with

Our parent company HBi Auto and the service providers that help us run the business (our CRM, email delivery, website hosting and ad measurement), only to handle your request. Lenders or lessors when we pay off a loan or lease for you, transport carriers when we pick up your car, and anyone the law requires. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to handle your request and any purchase, and to meet legal, tax and record-keeping duties.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing 911buyers@hbiauto.com. Residents of some states (such as California) have additional rights under state law, which we honor.

Children

This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
